I got the book The Help, by Kathryn Stockett for Xmas from my aunt. (The book is called Niceville in Swedish, I read it in Swedish.) It was incredibly interesting to follow the portrayed women’s struggle in the 1960′s apartheid Mississippi for a better world through telling stories about their lives. I read it at a stretch.

Some interesting criticism on the book here, apparently only the black women have accent in the book. Didn’t cross my mind until now. But this is actually also the case in the swedish translation.

Very well worth a ready though.
